Shoot Boxing Standing Vale Tudo’s official site is revamped

Shoot Boxing Standing Vale Tudo, one of the few organizations I have actually paid money to watch, has revamped their site. They are basically Sanda i.e. striking with throws but also allow standing submissions. They hold full-rules MMA matches occasionally.

Although they have removed their small English section they now have in-depth profiles on their top name fighters such as Akifumi Utagawa, protege of former All-Japan Pro-Wrestling PWF World Heavyweight Champion and two-time AWA World Tag Team Champion, Billy Robinson, and his UWF-Snakepit Gym. In another Pro-Wrestling related note, on their May 28th event, company ace Kenichi Ogata won a 2-0 decision over Team Black Rose member “Iron” Doosuk Oh of South Korea. He apparently hit what looked like a Front Dropkick in the match. More power to him. Their next event, the Young Caesar Cup, will be held June 28th at the Shinjuku FACE venue.

I will do my best to cover more of this 23 year old promotion in the future.
