EMLL announced late last night that Mr. Niebla is coming home this weekend and is working the Arena Mexico show on Sunday meaning that he is quitting AAA and won’t be at Triplemania on Friday night. There hasn’t been a jump like this in a while so I definitely wouldn’t be surprised if AAA tries to bring in someone like Toscano now to counter.

Gran Apache talked about why his family has had problems over the past couple of years and blames Billy Boy for everything saying that when he married Fabi, everything changed. Apache said that he wants the best for his kids but Fabi marrying Billy Boy was like a nightmare that he hopes will end at Triplemania. Apache said that he has already taken Billy’s hair twice and that he would leave Fabi if he lost but he didn’t do that so now he thinks that something must happen so either Billy leaves her life or he leaves her life. Apache went on to say that he loves Fabi very much and would give his life for her but he is putting his full support behind her sister Mari because she has the best interest of the family in mind and always has. Apache knows that Mari is stronger and that Fabi is faster so they are basically equal but Mari will have him in her corner and that means that she will be the victor and Fabi will have her head shaved.

Laredo Kid suffered a serious knee injury last night at Arena Cuatro Caminos in Nuevo Laredo which was the same knee that he injured at the Antonio Pena Memorial show last year. No word on exactly how serious the injury is yet.

Rey Misterio Sr. was announced as the replacement for Dr. Wagner Jr. on the Promociones Mora show in Tijuana and I like that they announce that he is on an equal level of Doc as far as star power.

TNA announced last night that due to the visa problems for Team Mexico their dates have been changed and they will still be coming in but it won’t happen until the situation gets better. The talk is that over the past few weeks getting work visas have been pretty tough so it’s taking longer to get approved.
