Here’s Wade with the rundown of the show.

Welcome everyone to live coverage of TNA Wrestling’s Desitnation X 2008!

We start out with footage from earlier today with Angle, Styles and Tomko arriving. Styles asks where Karen is and Angle tells him not to worry about it and get serious.

LAX vs. MMG vs. R&RI starts out the show. Sabin and Homicideare first in but it’s not long before Shelley is tagged in and they double team Homicide for a nearfall. Hoyt makes the blind tag on Shelley but Homicide manages to tag in Hernandez. Hernandez just performed the longest delayed suplex I’ve ever seen on Hoyt then everybody flies outside.Guns now going after Jimmy Rave in the ring. Rave tries for a comeback but Shelley cuts him off and gets 2. Rave finally gets some momentum going but Homicide blind tags then LAX double team Shelley. R&RI are now in control working over Shelley and gets a nearfall due to Sabin breaking it up. Hoyt crashes and burns with a top rope moonsault and Shelley tags in Hernandez who throws Hoyt and Rave around the ring like rag dolls. It’s all broken down again with Hernandez and Rave left inside with Hernandez hitting the Border toss for the win.

To the back with JB and Cornette. They have a poll on their site about whether Earl made the right decision in the Angle/Cage match from iMPACT.

X-Division Championship match: Petey Williams vs. “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal is next.

Petey with control early on but we get an exchange of moves, nearfalls then an attempt at the Destroyer. Lethal now in control and gets a couple quick nearfalls. Rahka Khan distracts Lethal on the outside which allows Petey to take control and get a nearfall. They do close ups on Khan and she is the definition of Superfreak. Petey takes it outside flying down onto Lethal with a rana then takes Lethal back into the ring. Lethal fights back with a faceplant for 2 but Petey regains control with a hesitation dropkick then a side russian leg sweep. Petey tries for the Destroyer again but Lethal reverses into a full nelson release suplex for 2. We get a series of moves with Petey gaining the control applying the Sharpshooter but lets go. Lethal gets momentum but Khan distracts the ref which allows Steiner to throw Lethal off the top rope. Petey hits the Destroyer but So Cal Val grabs the ref’s leg and tells him Steiner came out. Khan stalks Val until Dutt comes out. Petey thinks he has Lethal done but Lethal rolls him up for the win.

To the back with Crystal interviewing Cage, Nash and Joe. Joe says they’ll get the job done with Cage and Nash saying the same thing.

Rellik/Black Reign vs. Eric Young/Kaz is up next.

Kaz and Rellik start out with Kaz gaining control. Rellik tags in Black Reign and Kaz tags in EY. EY hits some great moves on Black Reign then tags in Kaz. Kaz is on a roll until Rellik and Black Reign double team him. Rellik puts a submission hold on Kaz who fights out but Rellik keeps control. Kaz finally gets control, tags in EY but he runs off right away. Kaz hits a stunner on Black Reign and a DDT on Rellik and we now have Super Eric!!! He hits a DVD with both Rellik and Black Reign on his shoulders for the win.

To the back to Cornette’s office. Styles, Tomko and Angle are in their with him and Cornette tells him he’ll make it right. We follow them and they run into 3D who complains about their match.

TNA Knockout Championship: ODB vs. Gail Kim vs. Awesome Kong is next.

Gail and ODB try some double teaming but Kong puts a stop to that right away. Gail and ODB finally double team Kong sending her outside and they go at it. Gail flies at Kong on the outside but Kong catches her and ODB flies at both of them. Gail throws ODB to the outside and Kong is now back in laying it into Gail. Gail blocks the spinning backfist but gets clobbered with a clothesline. Gail rolls out and ODB comes back to get her beating. Gail now back in and uses ODB’s back as a springboard to get a kick. Gail and ODB hit a double dropkick and both ladies break each other’s pin. Backfist to ODB then faceplant on Gail followed by a splash but ODB breaks it up only to get an Implant Buster and misses a big splash. ODB gets a nearfall then Kong’s associate distracts ODB which allows Kong to hit the Awesome Bomb for the win.

James E. Cornette in the ring. He tells Team 3D that if they don’t make the weight tonight their contracts are done. He then says that Kurt Angle hit the ground first but passes the advantage factor to the in house fans who rules in favor of Christian.

Fish Market Streetfight: Team 3D vs. Curry Man and Shark Boy is up next.

Bubba says he and D-Von aren’t fat and for once they were right. Curry Man and Shark Boy take control early on send Team 3D to the outside and they try to leave but they follows them and start whacking them with fish. Curry Man takes a fishing pole into the ring, puts a hoho on it then fishes Bubba into the ring but they go back out to the fish right away where Curry Man puts a net over Bubba then smacks him in the gut with a fish. Bubba gets out of the net and back drops Curry Man into a table of fish and ice. This is really funny with Bubba throwing fish around and fans throwing them back. Theam 3D in control now against Curry Man. Shark Boy back in but taken out quick with D-Von getting a nearfall. Shark Boy and Curry Man fight back with Shark Boy hitting the stunner for a nearfall then they do a double team move for 2. Bubba throws Curry Man out then gets Shark Boy on his shoulders so they can hit the Dommsday Device for 2. Team 3D try for the 3D but Curry Man turns it around so D-Von gets it and Shark Boy makes the pin. Bubba thinks they’ve won until he looks around.

To the back with JB and the Angle Alliance. Styles is still hung up on Karen.

Robert Roode vs. Booker T. is up next.

Roode reluctant to get in at first but they finally get him strapped after he refuses for a while. Booker gets control early on keeping Roode in the ring then using the strap to choke Roode. Roode takes the easy way to gain control and chokes him with the strap as well. Booker regains control and knees Roode in the corner but Roode quickly regains control and gets a nearfall and we get a ref bump. Brooks attacks Peyton, grabs the handcuffs and throws them into the ring but Roode gets them and clocks Booker with them to get the win. Booker tries to keep Brooks from getting strapped but security comes out and escorts him to the back. Peyton gets her licks in and a few more but Brooks grabs the strap. She tries to hit Peyton but Roode grabs it from her and smacks her with it. Sharmell runs out with a strap of her own and hits Roode, Peyton, some security guards and then Cornette.

To the back with Crystal who interviews James Storm. Storm says he isn’t afraid and is more than willing to go.

Elevation X: Rhino vs. James Storm is up next.

Rhino comes up and Storm climbs back down and looking like he’s going to the back. Rhino throws Storms’ beer back down to him then also goes back down to grab him which is extremely stupid if you ask me. Rhino pulls a couple tables out from beneath the ring and throws them in then rolls Storm in. Correct me if I’m wrong, but this looks like a regular match now then what it was billed to be which is a horrible move. Storm sets up one of those tables then wallops him with a trash can. Jacquie distracts Rhino then has him follow her up the scaffold and Storm comes up behind Rhino. They’re now sitting down on the scaffold with Rhino fishing Storm with beer. Both men are now on the sides of the scaffold trading punches and we could care less. We now get the tired gag of hiding under the scaffold (Storm) and Rhino acting like an idiot wondering where Storm is. At least he found Storm quick. Rhino rips a part off the scaffold which was the dumbest move ever. Finish is Rhino kicking Storm onto a table in the ring which signals the end of the match and we couldn’t be happier that this bomb of a match is over. This match was doomed from the start when both men went down the scaffold. Suckiest match of the night.

Joe, Cage & Nash vs. Angle, Tomko & Styles is next.

Angle is the one who is coming out 5 minutes later. Styles and Tomko try to stall but Joe comes out and brings Styles in for Cage to attack. Tomko tagged who pwerslams Cage for 2. Joe tagged in who lays into Tomko the the tag to Nash. Nash doesn’t stay in long as Joe comes in. Angle now out and Joe meets him in the entry way. Cage and Tomko now in with Tomko in control who gets a nearfall and a tag to Angle. Cage reverses an Ankle Lock into a roll up for 2 then takes down both Angle and Styles then gets the hot tag to Big Daddy Fossil who hits the powerbomb on Angle but Styles dropkicks his knee. We get a flurry of action with Joe and Tomko left in the ring with Joe getting the submission via the Clutch. Nash, Cage and Joe celebrate in the ring to end the show.

Final thoughts: Casey was right in his predictions of this being the good, the bad and the ugly with Elevation X being the ugliest match on the card.
