Hi everybody! Welcome to my live coverage of TNA Wrestling’s Against All Odds. We start the show out with an army national guard division coming out with “Bullet” Bob Armstrong and BG James and some guy singing the National Anthem.

There’s one thing that TNA has always been able to do right and that’s their opening videos. There’s always something different and always entertaining. That can’t be said for their matches a lot of the time.

TNA Tag Team Championship: BG James and “Bullet Bob Armstrong vs. AJ Styles and Tomko. BG grabs the mic and says “God Bless America”. Styles gets a mic and asks Tomko what’s been going on then Tomko grabs it and tells him to get his head straight. Our pizza just came and BG/Bullet have control to start but we get the mis-match of Bullet Bob and Tomko which turns the tide in their favor. Styles gets a nearfall then tags Tomko back in who goes for a big boot on Bob in the corner but Bob moves then tags in BG who goes for a pin but Tomko breaks it up. Miscommunication between Styles anbd Tomko allows BG to get 2 but Styles fights back with a nice dropkick to the leg then a double team finisher and Tomko gets the pin. Kip comes out right away to help BG out.

To the back with the Angles’ and JB. Karen is berating Kurt about not being romantic and spending time with her.

Tracy Brooks vs. Payton Banks is up next. Tracy goes beserk on Payton to start but Payton turns it around fast choking and punching her. Tracy spears Payton and they roll out of the ring. Tracy is laying into Payton in the aisle but Payton trips her up and rams her into the steps, whips her into the security rail then rolls her back in.Payton hits an excellent backcracker but only gets 2. Tracy reverses a move to regain control and attacks her with kicks and a clothesline for 2. Tracy goes up the top but Paytyon catches her. Tracy rolls her up for the win but Payton isn’t done yet. Tracy fights back and Payton scurries out of the ring.

Petey Williams vs. Scott Steiner is up next. To the back with Scott Hudson who does a dueling interview with Steiner and Williams. I couldn’t believe Petey could sound as crazy as Steiner but he certainly is. Steiner overpowers Petey so Petey decides to take a powder. Scott comes out but Petey goes back in, does a few pushups then Scott comes back in. Petey uses his speed to hit a few moves but Steiner catches him with an overhead belly to belly suplex then sets Petey up in the tree of woe. Steiner gets a nearfall, takes Petey to the top turnbuckle and hits another overhead belly to belly suplex then a fallaway slam from another corner but brings Petey up. Steiner sets the cases in a couple turbuckles but the ref asks Steiner not to throw Petey into it which allows Petey to ram Steiner into one and get a nearfall then a rana for 2. Petey tries for the Destroyer but Steiner powers out, hits a spinebuster and gets 2. Petey hits a top rope crossbody for 2, tries to apply the recliner but Steiner powers out again. Petey fights back and hits a tornado DDT for 2 then Steiner low blows him. Petey hits his own low blow, throws him into the other case then hits a turnbuckle dropkick. Petey goes the Destroyer again but a tall woman comes out to distract Petey which allows Steiner to hit a powerbomb for the pin.

To the back with JB. He’s still in the Angle locker room and Angle asks JB what he needs to do to get his wife back tonight. They engage in a little role play with JB being Kurt and Kurt being Karen. JB tells Kurt that Thursday is Valentine’s Day. AJ comes in at the end of the role play and leavs right away.

Drinking Chamionship: James Storm vs. Eric Young is up now. Storm attacks EY from behind on the outside then rolls him in but EY throws Storm back out, goes to the top turnbuckle and hits a cross body block. We (Scott Casey and I) decide to get more root beer at this point and I come back to see Rhino Goring James Storm behind the ref’s back which allows EY to get the win. Rhino grabs a mic and says that he has a lot to say but we’ll have to wait until Impact.

To the Impact Zone with Crystal and Cornette. Cornette explains that the SC Athletic commision said they can’t hold it with the rest of the show and gives us a warning.

TNA Knockout Championship: ODB vs. Awesome Kong. ODB tries to slam Kong but decides not and Kong takes control. ODB yells at Kong’s associate, tries for another slam but to no avail. Kong takes ODB to the outside and throws her into security rails. ODB gets back in the ring and Kong follows. Exchange of moves in the corner with Kong maintaining the advantage. Kong nails ODB with the Implant Buster and gets 2. Kong on the 2nd rope but ODB catches her, slams her from the top and gets 2. Kong’s associate distracts ODB which allows Kong to hit the spinning backfist and the win.

To the Impact Zone with James Mitchell. He tells Abyss that mommy won’t be able to save you.

Barb Wire Massacre 2: Abyss vs. Judas Messias is up now. Abyss is the first to hit the barb wire with his arm then Messias hits it with his chest. Messias drop toe holds Abyss into the barb wire and Abyss answers with a boot. Abyss rolls under the wire, grabs a steel chair wrapped in barb wire then rolls back in. He sets the chair on Messias but Messias puts it sideways so it hits Abyss’ mid section then he clobbers him in the head with it. Messias now to the outside, throws a table with barb wire into the ring then takes Abyss outside. Abyss rallies but throws Messias into the steps then puts a barb wire board between the security rail and the ring. Abyss tries to chokeslam Mitchell but Messias attacks him, throws him into the ring then gets a piece of wire and rakes it across Abyss’ arms. Abyss throws Messias stomach first onto the barb wire board then brings another table in. Abyss and Messias outside again and Messias gets chokeslammed into the barb wire board then goes after Mitchell. Abyss Black Hole Slams Mitchell then does the same to Messias for 2. Messias rams Abyss into the barb wire board in the corner. Exchange of punches with Abyss gaining control and hits a Black Hole Slam on Messias onto the barb wire board for the win.

Robert Roode vs. Booker T. is up next. To the back with Robert Roode. He says it was Booker’s fault for what happened to Sharmell. To the back with Booker T. Says that Roode’s @$$ belongs to him. Booker is on fire to start out. Booker throws Roode outside and Booker follows. Booker hits a few moves, throws Roode into the ring and Roode fights back. Booker gets control back, hits knees and elbows in the corner but Payton distracts Booker which allows Roode to take control. Booker fights out, hits the spin kick then an elbow followed by a spinebuster then a spin a roonie. Roode gets Booker to the outside but Booker keeps control. Roode has now gone to the back and Booker follows which results in a double count out. They haven’t stopped fighting. Roode throws Payton out of the car and speeds off.

To the back in the Angle locker room. Angle says that on Impact he and Karen are going to renew their wedding vows then tells Cage this is his last shot and Joe better stay out of his way.

Team 3D and Johhny Devine vs. Motorcity Machine Guns and “Black Machismo” Jay Lethal is up now. To the back with 3D and Devine. They say they’re going to destroy the Machine Guns and Lethal. I’ll try my best to call this match since all 3 men can go at it at once. Guns and Lethal hit Tornado DDTs and get nearfalls. We now get plunder and Team 3D/ Devine gets plastered with trash cans. 3D/Devine now in control using various weapons. Bubba just turned Lethal inside out with a big clothesline. SO Cal Val has come to the ring and is asking for them to stop. Bubba grabs her and is going to use a cheese grater on her but Lethal gets a comeback and takes all 3 on and gets a nearfall on Bubba. Bubba bomb gets Bubba 2. Lethal ducks as D-Von goes over top, kicks Bubba, lays Devine on the table then hits the Elbow Drop through the table for the win. Bubba tries to take the X-Title again but Lethal takes him down and grabs the belt.

TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Kurt Angle vs. Chrisian Cage. To the back with Cage. He asks Joe to do his job and says tonight belongs to him. Joe comes out first followed by Cage then Angle. Angle starts out with mat moves then gets a nearfall and applies a side headlock. Angle misses an elbow which allows Cage to apply a side headlock. Angle back in control but not for long as Cage ducks under him which sends Angle to the outside. Cage hits a top turnbuckle move, chops him then rolls Angle back in. Angle catches Cage on the top, hits a suplex and gets 2. Angle Belly to Belly suplexes Cage to the outside then rolls out himself. Angle and Joe shove each other for a bit then he gets back to Cage, hits Cage’s shoulder into the post then rolls him back in and gets a powerbomb for 2. Cage gets a nearfall but Angle answers with a couple german suplexes and Cage replies with one of his own. Cage hits a Frog Splash for a nearfall but Angle fights back ramming Cages throat into the turnbuckle. Cage suckers him in, reverses the Angle Slam and they fight on the apron. Angle gets control and locks on the Ankle lock but Cage gets to the ropes. Series of nearfalls followed by a reversal of the Unprettier and Angle hits the Slam for 2. Cage hits the Unprettier for a close nearfall and we get a ref bump but Joe comes in right away. Karen comes in for a distraction but ends getting squashed by Angle on accident. Joe stops Styles from coming in and Angle gets a chair. Cage ducks, goes to hit Angle but Angle low blows him then blasts him with it. Tomko is now out, acts like he’s going to hit Angle but attacks Cage allowing Angle to retain.Angle celebrates in the ring as the show ends.
